Cookies & storage

What this site keeps on your device, and the controls to change it. The short version: no cookies at all, and one optional group of local-storage items that exists only with your permission.

Effective 18 July 2026 Version 1.2 Dialog notice 2026-07-17.3

At a glance

  • This site sets no cookies, first- or third-party, and uses no analytics, advertising, or tracking technologies.
  • It uses this browser's local storage for exactly four items: one consent record, which is strictly necessary, and three preference items stored only if you allow them.
  • Nothing is stored before you choose, and no code on these pages sends the stored items anywhere.
  • The app does not use analytics unless you accept cookies. No analytics is instrumented today, so this inventory has no analytics item and no analytics toggle. Declining or withdrawing keeps the full app available.
  • You can allow, decline, or reset your choice on this page, in one click: Your choice. Changes apply immediately.
  • Your choice applies to this browser on this device.

What is stored

The table lists every item this site can place on your device. It was audited against the code of the landing page, the privacy page, and this page on the effective date. There is nothing else. All items live in this browser's local storage, which is the on-device storage the EU ePrivacy rules cover. No cookies exist, so nothing is sent along with web requests.

Every item is first party and stays on your device: these pages contain no code that transmits any of them, and no third party sets or reads any of them. There is nothing in session storage or any other browser store. The consent record is strictly necessary because it is what carries out your decline and prevents repeated prompting. The three preference items serve one purpose: remembering your app board and interface settings between visits. None of them is written unless you allow it.

Your choice

These controls read and write the same consent record as the "Stored on this device" dialog on the landing page: one record, shared by every page. Every change applies immediately, and declining or switching off deletes the three preference items at once. Declining changes nothing else: the pages and the app keep working, and your board changes simply stay in memory and end when you leave the page.

Saved choice in this browser

No choice saved

Nothing optional is stored. The landing page shows the storage dialog until a choice exists. You can also choose right here.

Strictly necessary

Always on

The consent record (synteum-consent-v1) only. It is exempt from consent and has no switch, because it is what makes your decline effective. Removing it is what the reset control below does.

Preferences

Stored only when enabled

App board data, board sort order, and language preference, as listed above. The switch shows your current choice and applies on click. Switching it off deletes the three items immediately.

Start over

Deletes the three preference items and the consent record itself, in one click. With no record left, the storage dialog shows again the next time you open the landing page.

How your choice works

  • One record, every page. The landing page's storage dialog, the privacy page's withdrawal controls, and the controls above all read and write the same record. A choice made anywhere shows everywhere.
  • Per browser, per device. Your choice applies to this browser on this device. A different browser, another device, or a private window is asked separately.
  • Immediate effect. Allowing takes effect at once. Declining or withdrawing deletes the stored preference items at the moment you click. Withdrawing is one click, the same as allowing was.
  • Where the record lives. The consent record lives in this browser's local storage and is protected from alteration only to the extent the browser protects that storage.
  • Why the dialog can return. Your record stores the version of the storage notice you decided on, currently 2026-07-17.3. When the inventory or the substance of this notice changes, that notice version is bumped, records made under the old version stop counting, and the dialog asks again. The change log below moves together with it.

Where else to change it

  • On the landing page: the footer's "Cookie & storage settings" control reopens the storage dialog.
  • On the privacy page: the Withdrawing consent section has the same one-click withdrawal and reset.
  • In the design preview: the Tweaks panel's Privacy · "Reset cookie choice" control clears the choice and all optional items in one click.
  • In your browser: clearing this site's data removes everything, including the consent record.

Changes to this page

Material changes bump the version and effective date above. Changes to the storage inventory also bump the dialog's notice version, which makes the dialog ask for a fresh choice.
