Privacy notice

Everything this site does with data, listed in full. It is short because there is not much: the Synteum web app runs in your browser, and Synteum runs no analytics or tracking here.

Effective 18 July 2026 Version 1.3 Controller: SZEINER s.r.o.

At a glance

  • This site sets no cookies and uses no analytics, advertising, or tracking technologies.
  • With your permission, the Synteum web app keeps your app board and interface preferences in this browser's local storage. The page contains no code that sends that data anywhere.
  • Loading the page fetches fonts and scripts from three outside hosts. Each fetch carries your IP address to that host, like any web request.
  • You can withdraw your permission at any time, in one click, on this page: Withdrawing consent. Withdrawing deletes the stored items.
  • Everything described here comes from you or your browser. We collect nothing about you from anyone else.
  • Questions and requests: [email protected]. Security reports: [email protected]

Who is responsible

Synteum is operated by SZEINER s.r.o., a company registered in the Czech Republic. SZEINER s.r.o. is the controller for the processing described on this page.

What this notice covers

The Synteum landing page, including the free Synteum web app embedded in it (the "Test it, live" section), and this notice page. There is no signed-in product behind these pages: the sign-in preview is disabled and submits nothing. Both pages share one consent record in this browser.

What is processed, why, and on what basis

Four things happen. Each is listed with its purpose, its legal basis under the GDPR, and how long it lasts. Analytics is not among them: the app does not use analytics unless you accept cookies, and no analytics purpose exists today. Declining keeps the full app available.

Remembering your consent choice

Always on

One record of whether you allowed or declined optional storage, the time of your decision, and the version of the storage notice you saw. It prevents the storage dialog from appearing on every visit and re-asks you when the notice changes.

Legal basisLegal obligation, Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR: we must be able to demonstrate your consent choice (Art. 7(1)) and stop optional storage the moment you decline.
KeptUntil you reset your choice or clear this site's data.

Keeping your app board and interface preferences

Stored only when enabled

So your changes remain after reloading the page: the tasks, lists, and timeframes you create or edit in the app board, including any text or files you attach to tasks there, plus your selected sort order and language. The page contains no code that transmits this data: it stays in this browser's local storage.

Legal basisConsent, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, given in the "Stored on this device" dialog. Nothing in this group is stored if you decline.
KeptUntil you disable optional storage, reset your choice, or clear this site's data.

Delivering the page

To render, your browser fetches the site's typefaces and runtime scripts from three outside hosts. Each fetch is a standard web request and carries your IP address and browser details to that host. We do not receive anything from these requests.

Legal basisLegitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR: serving you the page you requested, with its typefaces and runtime.
KeptNot kept by us. Each host handles its request data under its own privacy notice.

Answering your messages

If you write to us, by email or through the footer's Contact link, we process your email address and what you send, in order to reply.

Legal basisLegitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, in answering you. Legal obligation, Art. 6(1)(c), applies when your message exercises a data-protection right.
KeptWhile we handle your message and as evidence that we handled it correctly. It is deleted after that.

What does not happen here

Checked against the page's code, not policy boilerplate:

  • No cookies. The site sets none. The items above live in local storage only.
  • No analytics, advertising, or tracking technologies, first- or third-party.
  • No accounts. The sign-in and sign-up preview is disabled and submits nothing.
  • No hidden sending. The page contains no form submissions and no background requests to Synteum: what you type in the app is not transmitted by any code path.
  • No data about you from others. There is nothing here to enrich, match, or buy.

Who receives data

We pass what is described here to no one. No one receives your app board data or your consent record from us.

Three hosts receive requests directly from your browser when the page loads: Google (fonts), Fontshare (fonts), and unpkg (runtime scripts), as listed under Delivering the page. They receive the standard data any web server receives with a request, and handle it under their own privacy notices.

Transfers outside the EU

We transfer no data to countries outside the EU or EEA ourselves. The font and script hosts above are global content networks, so your browser's request to them may be answered from a server outside the EEA. How they handle request data is described in their own privacy notices.

How long data is kept

Consent choice recordUntil you reset your choice or clear this site's data.
App board, sort order, languageUntil you disable optional storage, reset your choice, or clear this site's data.
Font and script requestsNot kept by us. See the hosts' own notices.
Email correspondenceWhile we handle your message and as evidence of correct handling, then deleted.

All locally stored items sit in this browser under your direct control. The app's Save button additionally exports your board as a file onto your device, entirely outside our reach.

How this site is secured

The measures below are factual descriptions of how the site is built, confirmed against its code:

  • No server-side collection. The code contains no form submissions and no network calls to Synteum, so nothing you do here reaches our servers.
  • Data stays in your browser. The consent record and preference items live in this browser's local storage only, deletable by you at any time.
  • Consent enforced in code. Optional items are written only after a recorded choice. Declining or withdrawing deletes them.
  • Integrity-pinned scripts. The only third-party code is the React and Babel runtime from unpkg.com, loaded with subresource-integrity pins so the browser rejects altered files. No other scripts run here.
  • Encrypted fetches. Every outside resource the page requests (typefaces, runtime) uses an HTTPS address. Whether the page itself is served over HTTPS depends on the hosting that serves it.

These statements describe this site as audited on the effective date. They are not a certification claim: Synteum holds no certification against any security or AI-management standard.

Incidents, reports, and concerns

If a security incident affects personal data, we assess it and, where the GDPR requires, inform the supervisory authority and the people affected. If you notice something wrong, write to [email protected].

Security vulnerability reports go to the same address. Privacy concerns and everything else go to [email protected]. Good-faith reports are handled confidentially and without reprisal.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can, at any time:

Access · Art. 15Ask what data we hold about you and receive a copy.
Rectification · Art. 16Have inaccurate data corrected.
Erasure · Art. 17Have data deleted.
Restriction · Art. 18Have processing paused while something is contested.
Portability · Art. 20Receive data you gave us in a machine-readable form.
Objection · Art. 21Object to processing based on legitimate interest.

To exercise any of them, write to [email protected]. We respond within one month. For most data on this page the fastest path is direct: the stored items sit in your own browser, and the controls in the next section delete them instantly.

You can also lodge a complaint with the Czech supervisory authority: Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů (Office for Personal Data Protection), uoou.gov.cz.

Withdrawing consent

You can withdraw your consent to optional storage at any time, as easily as you gave it: one click. Withdrawing deletes the stored items immediately. It does not make the storage that happened before withdrawal unlawful. It ends it.

Saved choice in this browser

No choice saved

Nothing optional is stored. The landing page will ask for a choice when you next open it.

The same withdrawal is available in three other places:

  • On the landing page: the footer's "Cookie & storage settings" control reopens the storage dialog, where you can decline or switch the preference off and save.
  • In the design preview: the Tweaks panel's Privacy · "Reset cookie choice" control clears the choice and all optional items in one click. The dialog then returns.
  • In your browser: clearing this site's data removes everything, including the consent record.

Is any of this required?

No. You can read the site and use the app without providing any personal data. Nothing here is a statutory or contractual requirement. If you decline optional storage, the page still works. The only consequence is that your app board changes and preferences are not retained after you close or leave the page.

Automated decisions and profiling

None. There is no automated decision-making about you and no profiling within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR. The app's alerting logic evaluates the due dates of sample tasks inside your browser. It rates tasks, not you.

Changes to this notice

Material changes bump the version and effective date above. When the storage inventory or the substance of its notice changes, the storage dialog's own notice version changes with it, and the dialog asks for a fresh choice.
